MAJALTA, Aug 6: In a powerful showcase of talent, vision, and patriotism, GDC Majalta, 6 August 2025 today organized a Seminar Competition on the theme "Role of J&K Youth in Nation Building" as a part of 79th Independence day celebrations. The event aimed to highlight the vital contributions and potential of the youth of Jammu & Kashmir in shaping the future of the nation.
Organized by NSS unit of College Seminar saw enthusiastic participation from students across various departments. The participants delivered thought-provoking speeches reflecting the spirit of empowerment, unity, and progress. The event provided a platform for the youth to express their ideas on leadership, education, innovation, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility as tools for nation building. Esteemed Principal of the College, Dr. Shalini Sharma in her inaugural address, emphasized the importance of youth participation in democratic processes, community service, and developmental initiatives. "The youth of Jammu & Kashmir are not just the future but also the present torch bearers of India's progress. Their voice, energy, and ideas can drive transformational change," A panel of esteemed judges, Prof. kamal jeet, Prof Naresh , Prof Dalip and Prof. Anuradha evaluated the presentations based on content, delivery, originality, and relevance to the theme.
