Investiture Ceremony held at Jammu Sanskriti School

Kathua, Aug 7: With immense pride and joy, Jammu Sanskriti School, Kathua celebrated one of the most prestigious and awaited events of its academic calendar—the Investiture Ceremony—with great zeal and enthusiasm.
This remarkable day marked a new chapter for our young leaders, who now stand at the threshold of responsibilities that demand courage, commitment, and character. It was a celebration of leadership, integrity, and trust, echoing the very ethos of the institution.
To ensure transparency and fairness, the Student Council elections were conducted through Google Forms on 2nd August, giving students a democratic opportunity to vote for their preferred candidates. The election results marked the beginning of an exciting leadership journey for the elected students.
The ceremony was honoured by the gracious presence of esteemed dignitaries:
Chief Guest: Dr. Bharat Bhushan, MLA Kathua

Special Invitee: Ms. Priyanka Sodani, Associate Professor and Incharge HOD, Department of Ophthalmology, GMC Kathua

Adding to the significance of the day, parents of the elected student leaders also graced the occasion, making it even more memorable.
A key highlight of the event was the Oath Ceremony, solemnly led by Principal Mrs. Mili R. Sumbria. This momentous event reaffirmed the school’s core values of equal opportunity, active participation, and nurturing leadership. The newly elected council pledged to uphold their duties with dedication, lead by example, and strive to bring laurels and glory to the school as proud Sanskritians.

Words of appreciation and inspiration were shared by Dr. Priyanka Sodani, who congratulated the elected members and encouraged them to uphold their responsibilities with integrity and wisdom.
Dr. Bharat Bhushan too addressed the gathering, inspiring the students to embrace leadership with courage and a vision for change.
All of this was made possible through the visionary guidance, motivation, and support of Principal Mrs. Mili R. Sumbria, whose dedication continues to shape the future of the students and uplift the spirit of the school.
The event concluded with a memento presentation to the honoured guests by Mr Harpreet Singh Anand, Chairman, Jammu Sanskriti Schools, Mr Ravinder Sharma, Member of the School Management Committee along with Mrs Mili R Sumbria, Principal as a gesture of gratitude.
Finally, the ceremony came to a graceful end with a Vote of Thanks delivered by the newly elected Head Girl, Ms Urvi, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the dignitaries and parents for taking out their valuable time to bless and inspire the student leaders on this momentous day.
