RS PURA, Aug 8: In a vibrant display of patriotism and national pride, 2nd J&K Boys BN NCC, Jammu and 8 J&K Girls BN NCC Jammu (both Boys and Girls wings) of Government Degree College, R.S. Pura organized a grand "Har Ghar Tiranga" rally on August 8, 2025, as part of the ongoing celebrations of India's Independence.
The rally was flagged off by Worthy Principal Prof. (Dr.) Preetpal Kour, who appreciated the enthusiastic participation of the NCC cadets and emphasized the importance of national symbols in uniting the country. Cadets marched with the Tricolour in hand, raising slogans and spreading awareness about the importance of hoisting the National Flag in every households. The rally covered major areas of R.S. Pura town, drawing attention and appreciation from local residents. Cadets also educated the public on the significance of the Tiranga and how citizens can participate in the campaign by hoisting the flag at their homes.
Event coordinator Prof. Sanjeev Upadhyay,CTO NCC Boys and Dr. Roopali Jamwal, ANO NCC Girls stated, "This rally not only instills patriotism among cadets but also serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made for India's freedom. We are proud to be part of this national movement." The esteemed faculty members who contributed for the success of the event were Dr Sudesh Kumar, Prof. Sankait Gupta, Dr. Akriti Parihar, Prof. Rajinder Singh and Dr. Sunil Kumar Mangoch. |
