UDHAMPUR, Aug 8: District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Udhampur in collaboration with Udhampur Police and transporters, organised an awareness programme on traffic laws and management at District Police Line Udhampur.
The programme was graced by Kamlesh Pandit, Additional District and Sessions Judge Udhampur, as the chief guest. Participants included Additional SP Udhampur, DySP Traffic Udhampur, DTI Udhampur, SHO Udhampur, Executive Magistrate 1st Class Udhampur, Transport Inspector Udhampur, and officials from the Police and Transport departments.
Resource persons were Rishabh Koushal, Munsiff/District Mobile Magistrate Traffic Udhampur, and Adv. Akhil Dubey, Panel Lawyer, DLSA Udhampur. The programme aimed to educate transporters and stakeholders about the importance of adhering to traffic rules. Rishabh Koushal spoke on various traffic laws, emphasising the significance of compliance and explaining the legal framework and consequences of violations. Adv. Akhil Dubey reinforced the importance of traffic management and strict adherence to laws.
Thereafter, Kamlesh Pandit addressed the gathering, stressing the need for traffic awareness and motivating attendees to prioritise road safety.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Adv. Akhil Dubey, who expressed gratitude to participants and organisers for contributing to the programme's success
