JAMMU, Aug 9: On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, Sadguru of Sahib Bandgi Shri Madhuparamhans Ji Maharaj, while delighting the congregation with the nectar of his discourses in Ranjdi Jammu today, said that every human being has his own world. In reality, the world does not exist. Guru Vashishtha said the same thing to Ram Ji. When Ram Ji said that this world is a house of sorrows, Vashishtha Ji said, O Ram, which world are you talking about, the world never existed. This is just an illusion of your mind. You are thinking that the sun, the moon, so that is there.
You see that a child is born. The sanskars of the parents enter his mind. Speech, getting up and sitting etc. all get fed into his mind.
Then he said, O Ram, all this is visible due to the development of the mind, in reality it has no form. All this is an illusion. How unique it is. Just like in the desert, the earth and the sky appear to meet at a faraway place, this is an illusion. In reality it is not so. The deer keeps running with the desire of water. But there is no water there. It gets tired of running and dies. In this way, the pleasures of the world are also like a mirage. There is nothing in it. Your soul itself is a pool of bliss.
So it is said that O Ram, one who is knowledgeable, knows this truth. This world has not originated from the beginning. The whole world is from the sky. Just as blueness is seen in the sky, similarly this world appears. That is why a knowledgeable person does not get attached to the world. Whenever a child goes to school, the teacher teaches him vowels, consonants and mathematics. In this way, if you separate the soul, mind and nature, then spirituality will not remain. Mind is important in this. Because the reason and factor of bondage is the mind.
Like the sky appears blue, but it is not. The sky appears blue due to vision impairment. In this way, the world does not exist at all. It is like a dream in sleep. Every person dreams in sleep. Sometimes very unique things are found in dreams. Those things cause sorrow as well as happiness. Both are illusions. After waking up from sleep, the world does not exist. In this way, this world appears due to ignorance. After attaining knowledge, it is known that the world is just a spark of the mind.
Sahib is saying that the body is the mind, the senses are also the mind. When you go beyond the resolution and option, then what remains is the soul. Like the sea is calm, but waves arise in it due to the speed of the wind. Similarly, the soul is calm. The world appears to be a pyre only due to the mind. When the mind is controlled, the existence of the world ends. This enlightened person does not get attached to the material things of the world even if he wants to. |
