REASI, Aug 12: In a vibrant display of unity and patriotism, District Police Reasi today organized grand Tiranga Rallies at Arnas, Katra and Ransoo as part of the ongoing Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, celebrating the spirit of Independence Day 2025.
At Arnas, the rally commenced from the Police Station and culminated at Arnas Market, witnessing enthusiastic participation from CRPF personnel, local police, government officials and residents. Participants marched in disciplined formation, carrying the National Flag and raising spirited slogans of national pride, reflecting the strong bond between security forces and the public.
At Katra, the rally was flagged off by SP Katra, Vipan Chandran, JKPS, accompanied by SDPO Katra, DySP Bhawan, SHO PS Katra, Prob. DySP, and senior officers from Paramilitary and Police forces. Representatives from the Market Association, Hotel Association, Municipal Committee, prominent citizens, youth and school students joined in. The rally began from Police Station Katra, passed through the main market, bus stand, Varun Chowk and concluded at Katra Railway Station, creating a vibrant atmosphere of patriotism.
At Ransoo, SHO P/S Ransoo led the Tiranga Rally in coordination with CRPF, students and local residents. The streets were filled with tricolor flags and resonated with slogans of unity and freedom.
