Jammu Police visited homes of martyrs, saluting their supreme sacrifice

JAMMU, Aug 16: On the directions of SSP Jammu, Joginder Singh, JKPS, and to mark the 79th Independence Day, Jammu Police paid heartfelt homage to the valiant police martyrs who laid down their lives in the line of duty while safeguarding the sovereignty and integrity of the nation. Senior officers, including Zonal SP's,SDPO's & SHOs/IC PP's/ICBPPs and other ranks of the Jammu Police, undertook a solemn initiative to visit the families of these national heroes across the urban & rural settlements. During these interactions, they listened to the families' concerns and reassured them of the J&K Police department's ongoing support.
As a token of respect and appreciation, sweets and small gifts were distributed, aiming to bring warmth and comfort to these families on this significant day. The initiative also emphasized the emotional bond between the Police and the families of its fallen heroes.
This gesture serves as a reminder that the sacrifices made by the brave officers are remembered and valued.Jammu Police reaffirm their pledge to stand by Martyr families in solidarity always.
Families were reassured that the Jammu & Kashmir Police remains eternally indebted to the supreme sacrifices of their loved ones and stands firmly beside them at all times.
