JAMMU, Aug 20: In a remarkable achievement for the police, an absconder namely Bharat Malhotra s/o Tilak raj r/o Nai Basti Jammu, who was evading arrest for more than three decades, has finally been apprehended by the Nowabad Police District Police Jammu by police team led by SHO Nowabad,Inspector Nishant Gupta.
The accused, wanted in connection with FIR No. 382/92, u/s 4/25 Arms act of ps Nowabad ,had been on the run for the last 32 years, successfully avoiding the clutches of law.
The accused was produced before the Hon'ble Court of Law, where legal proceedings have been initiated in accordance with due process. |
