| DC visits AIIMS, District Hospital to inquire about injured tourists | | |  Early Times Report
SAMBA, Aug 21: Deputy Commissioner Samba Ayushi Sudan today paid a visit to District Hospital Samba and AIIMS Vijaypur to enquire about the well-being of the tourists injured in a road accident that took place late last night in District Samba.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner interacted with the injured patients as well as their attendants, patiently listening to their concerns. She impressed upon the medical staff to provide best possible treatment, and all necessary support facilities to the victims.
Later, the Deputy Commissioner visited Sangwal village in Vijaypur, where she met with the family of Ashok Kumar, who lost his life in the recent cloudburst incident in District Kishtwar.
The DC expressed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, conveying deep sympathy on behalf of the District Administration. She assured the family of all possible help from the Administration, as admissible under norms.
She was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner Jagdish Singh, concerned Tehsildar and other senior officials of the district administration. |
