Inter zonal district level competitions held AAG girls conclude

JAMMU, Aug 23: Department of Youth Services and Sports of District Jammu conclude Inter Zonal District Level Competitions of Football, Volleyball U-19 Yrs. Girls & Chess AAG Yrs. of Girls today at Khel Goan Nagrota Jammu.
The competitions were being organised under the patronage of Director General Youth Services and Sports JK UT Anuradha Gupta (JKAS) under the guidance of Joint Director Youth Services and Sports Jammu Vinakshi Koul (JKAS) along with Deputy Director Central Jetinder Mishra (JKAS) and under the overall supervision of DYSSO Jammu Sukhdev Raj Sharma.
These competitions providing a platform for young players to showcase their talents and vie for the victory in this esteemed tournament. The primary goal of these competitions is to select the best talent for further participation in the next competition coming ahead.
These competitions were being conducted by experts of the department Tilak Parihar, Naresh Kumar, Jagjeet Singh, Amit Sharma, Harjot Kour, Rekha Devi, Ashima Mahajan, Harsimran Singh, Taranpal Singh, Gurbachan Singh, Varinder Singh, Meenakshi, Maheep Slathia, Davinder Singh, Nitin Sethi, Sunil Abrol, Amit Kalsi, Kamal Singh, Priya Devi, Ajay Kumar, Rohit Gupta, Bal Krishan Bhat and Ravinder Singh including other committee convenors and technical officials of the department.

Football U-19 Yrs. Boys:-
1st Semi Final:-Zone Gandhi Nagar beat Zone Jammu by (1-0) goal. Shine scored 2 goals from Zone Gandhi Nagar
2nd Semi Final: Zone Satwari beat Zone Miran Sahib by (3-0) goals. Saleni scored 2 goals and Sundhi scored 1 goal from Zone Satwari
Final:- Zone Gandhi Nagar beat Zone Satwari by (2-1) Tia breaker.Shine and Mantesha scored 1 goal each from Zone Gandhi Nagar.Ridhima scored 1 goal from Zone Satwari.
Volleyball U-19 Yrs. Girls:-
Ist Semi-Final:-Zone Jammu beat Zone Gandhi Nagar by (2-0) sets
Second Semi-Final:-Zone Jourian beat Zone Satwari by (2-0)sets
Final:-Zone Jourian beat Zone Jammu by (2-0)sets
Chess U-17 Yrs. Girls:-
Avni of Zone Jammu beat Aditi of Zone Bishnah
Sirat of Zone Jammu beat Sonam of Zone Miran Sahib
Shireen of Zone Gandhi Nagar beat Mehreen of Zone Bhalwal
Mishthi of Zone Bhalwal beat Tejasuini of Zone Jammu
