Three day mega Technofest concludes

SRINAGAR, Aug 27: The institutions Innovation Council of DAV College Amritsar organised three Day Techno fest, in collaboration with Science Departments, mathematics department and computer science department.
The program was inaugurated by College Principal Dr Amardeep Gupta.Dr Gupta informed that
this programme was meant for encouraging and promoting the innovations from the college students. The Programme was a mega technological event which showcased the technological innovations/inventions. The Programme provided an opportunity for the talented students to exhibit/demonstrate their innovative products.He added that the Techno Fest fostered the creativity and scientific temperament of the students. The models presented by students represent hours of hard work, research and thinking out of the box capabilities. 135 students have presented their models in this 3 day event.
On the first day, The Computer Science department exhibited the models, which included the apps like “Attendify – Attendance Marking System using RFID and IoT” is designed to automate the process of recording attendance in institutions and workplaces. AI SDLC Generator, Edutrack, Deep Fake Analyzer was developed by Code Wizards which focuses on stopping the spread of deep fakes and building digital trust.
On the second day,
The Mathematics department and Physics department exhibited their innovative models. Innovative Mathematical models were presented by the students of M.Sc. (Maths), B.Sc. (Non-Med, Comp.Sci.), and +2(Non-Med, Arts) classes. In this event models like 'Goldbach's Conjecture', Significance of Graphs in Statistics, Strategic moves with Linear Programming Problems, Stereometry Architecture, Routes- A Transportation Model', and 'Equivalence Relations' were displayed by the students. The models presented by Physics department were of Solar Spark, Wireless Energy Transmission, Astable Multivibrator.
On final day ,Botany, Biotechnology, chemistry and Zoology exhibited their models which showcased creativity and addressed important issues such as waste management, environmental sustainability, food safety and health awareness.
