GDC Neeli Nallah organizes one day workshop on flagship schemes

UDHAMPUR, Aug 26: NSS unit of GDC Neeli Nallah Udhampur in collaboration with My Bharat Udhampur along with Social welfare Department organised One day workshop under the esteemed guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Seema Arora, Principal of the College. The aim of the workshop was to educate stakeholders about the transformative flagship schemes and initiatives implemented by the UT government. The event witnessed active participation of students and faculty members.
The speakers of the Programme were Dr. Sudesh, Medical Officer Health Department, Arshad Noomani, Assistant Director Industries, Mr. Anikesh, Sub Inspector Police Department, Asif Beig Account Assistant RDD Department, Ms. Pooja Jamwal ,Gender Specialist Sankalp-Hub ,Social welfare Department. During the workshop, the resource persons highlighted the importance of flagship schemes in promoting inclusive growth, empowerment of youth and sustainable development. The workshop brought together government officials, industry leaders, beneficiaries, and students to foster a deeper understanding of the policies designed to promote industrial growth, boost tourism, enhance healthcare access through schemes like the AB-PMJAY-SEHAT scheme, and to empower youth through programs such as Mission YUVA and Mumkin.
The Principal of the college, as Chief guest ,in her address stated that such programs not only enrich student's knowledge but also prepare them to act as ambassadors of change in society. She further appreciated efforts of the NSS Programme Officer Prof. Shaista Yasmeen and Kushal Gupta Deputy Director, MY BHARAT UDHAMPUR ,an Autonomous Body under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports Govt.of India in successfully organizing the workshop. At the conclusion of the workshop, certificates and mementos were also distributed along with refereshments to the participants.
