| Unnat NGO supplies food items to flood-hit victims | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 4: In the difficult time of flood-hit victims due to torrential rains causing disastrous conditions, the Unnat NGO came forward to help people and suppling them items of daily use. For the last one week, the members of Unnat NGO visited different places and distributed food items among the indigent victims in flood ridden areas of Jammu.
In this hour of crisis, the members of the NGO are working to help people under the leadership of their General Secretary Smt Neena Abrol. Led by her, Unnat team went to Kabir Basti in Poonch House and Gorkha Basti in Bahu Fort and distributed eatables and food among the affected people.
Talking to mediaperson, Neena Abrol, General Secretary said that for the last one week, we have been going to different places and trying to help the flood-affected people. We are doing whatever we can for the people badly affected due to crisis of natural calamity.
She further appealed to all the people of Jammu that we have to fight unitedly in this difficult time of people to provide them every possible help wholeheartedly who are involved and suffering the fury of heavy rains and flood water entered their houses engulfing the family members in a state of shock and helplessness,she added.
