Jammu, Sept 5: Kashmiri Mohalla ward Number 2 Akhnoor is celebrating Shri Ganesh Utsav with great pomp and show.
It is first of its type Programme being celebrated in the Ward.
Idol of Shree Ganesh ji was decorated at Main chowk of the Mohalla on 27th August 2025 with enthusiasm by the locality members with chanting of Ganapati Bappa moriya.
Aarti of lord Genesha is performed twice a day apart from various colourful Programmes which includes Kirtan by Hare Rama Hare Krishna, jhankis by artist from jammu, Shiv Vivah by Jangam Party and Rattan Bhardwaj ji an eminent Artist and poet's spirtual teachings made the audience speechless.
Social workers Pawan Gupta and Rakesh Gupta informed the gathering that on Saturday there will be Hawan at 10 am followed by Bhandara at 12 noon and jhanki at 3 pm which will pass through the mail Bazars and conclude at Harimandir Ghat Akhnoor. Shivam Mahajan and Amit Gupta appreciated the efforts made by the youth of Mohalla. Apart from Raj Kumar, Ashwani Kashyap, Raman Kumar, Rahul Gupta and Dhiraj Kashyap following members played a vital role in Ganesh Utsav celebration
