POONCH, Sept 6: MLA Haveli, Mr. Ajaz Ahmed Jan, today participated in the grand Eid Milad-un-Nabi processions held at Mandi and Poonch. A large number of people from different walks of life joined the celebrations with deep devotion, reciting Darood o Salaam upon the Holy Prophet and remembering his message of peace, mercy, and brotherhood.
On this sacred occasion, Mr. Jan extended his warm greetings to the people of Poonch and said that Eid Milad-un-Nabi is not just a celebration but a spiritual reminder of the life and teachings of Rehmat-ul-lil-Alameen, Prophet Muhammad, whose guidance continues to lead humanity towards justice and compassion.
Special prayers were offered for peace, prosperity, and the well-being of the people of Jammu and Kashmir, as well as the entire nation. Mr. Jan prayed to Almighty Allah to protect the people from hardships, grant harmony among communities, and bless the land with stability and development.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Jan expressed deep grief and condemnation over the killing of innocent children and families in Palestine. He said those who commit such atrocities will never escape the justice of Almighty Allah and will be destroyed for their crimes against humanity.
He emphasized that the true followers of Prophet Muhammad are those who stand against oppression and support the oppressed, regardless of religion or community. Humanity, he said, flourishes only when love, mercy, and fairness prevail over hatred and injustice.
Mr. Jan reaffirmed his commitment to uphold communal harmony and work for the development of Poonch and Jammu & Kashmir. He urged people to spread the Prophet's message of love, tolerance, and brotherhood, which is the real essence of celebrating Eid Milad-un-Nabi. |
