Civil Defence, concluded 5 days CD training programme

Jammu, Sept 7: Jammu 06th September 2025, 05 days Civil Defence training programme which was started at Govt. SMGS Hospital, Jammu was, concluded today. The training programme was organized under the supervision of Deputy Controller Civil Defence, Jammu and with the co-ordination of Sh. Sayed Nisar Ahmad Shah, Managing Director, G. Active Security Services GMC & Associated Hospital, Jammu. 150 private Security personnel of the SMGS Hospital attended the said training.
The participants were trained with the knowledge as how to enhance public preparedness and response capabilities during emergencies.
This included educating participants on basic first aid, fire-fighting techniques, CPR, and other vital emergency response methods, with a focus on safety measures during events like airstrikes and natural/ manmade disaster. On this occasion, Dy. Controller Civil Defence, Jammu delivered a lecture on the role of private security staff in conflict management and how to protect doctors & staff if the situation deteriorates. A demonstration on first aid fire fighting including improvised emergency rescue methods during disaster was also presented by the Civil Defence team. Sh. R.K Katoch Administrative officer of the GMC, Jammu appreciated the programme and thanked the Civil Defence team for organizing such trainings programme. He thanked to the Civil Defence team for imparting training to the security personnel’s on Crises management for the safety of Doctors/ Staff.
