Jammu, Sept 8: The Jammu Police is actively & continuously working to curb criminal activities in the region. Recently, Police Station Peermitha apprehended a hardcore criminal, Rahil Gagotra,who was involved in multiple cases, including attempt to murder and Arms Act violations and booked him jammu kashmir public safety Act (PSA)
Details of PSA detainee is as Rahil Gagotra S/O Parshotam Lal R/o H.No 220 Bawe wali Gali shaheedi chowk Tehsil and Distt Jammu
Multiple FIR’s are registered against the accuesd in various Police Stations.
A warrant of arrest under public safety Act Vide No PSA/13 of 2025 dt 6/9/2025 under section 8(1)(A) of J&K public safety Act 1978 was issued against the accused by District Magistrate Jammu.
The relentless efforts of SHO PS Peermitha,SDPO City North jammu under the close supervision of SP City North jammu resulted in the execution of this warrant.
PSA warrant of said accused executed by PSI Anshu Dobey of PS Peermitha and accused has been Lodged in District Jail Udhampur. The Jammu Police's efforts to maintain law and order have been appreciated by the general public, who are satisfied with the stringent actions taken against criminals. This is part of the police's zero-tolerance policy towards crime, as seen in recent case where notorious criminal has been booked under PSA.
