Volunteers sensitized peers about the significance of the day, stressing the need to talk openly about suicide and extend support to those in distress. Awareness posters carrying helpline numbers were displayed across the campus, reinforcing the message that support is always accessible and no one has to be alone in their struggles.
During the Awareness Seminar, the welcome note was delivered by Ms. Aneesha Kour setting the tone for the day. The seminar was hosted by Shreya Bajwa and Bhoomi Sharma. The program was graced by Prof. Dr. Geetanjali Andotra, Principal, GCW Gandhinagar, who spoke about the struggles faced by people struggling with suicidal thoughts and ideations.
