early times report

Jammu, Sept 11: In a significant step toward improving civic infrastructure, MLA Bahu Ch. Vikram Randhawa today kickstarted two major development projects focused on the construction of lanes and drains in Ward No. 44 (Nanak Nagar) and Ward No. 46 (Sanjay Nagar).
The inauguration ceremony was held in the presence of key officials from the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and was attended by Former Deputy Mayor Baldev Billowria, District President Naresh Singh, Mandal Presidents Rahul Kumar and Ritika Dhiman, along with several local dignitaries and residents.
These projects come as a much-awaited response to the long-pending demands of the local population, who have been facing infrastructure-related issues for years. The construction of proper lanes and drainage systems is expected to significantly improve sanitation and ease the daily life of residents in these areas.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Ch. Vikram Randhawa said:
“It is our duty and commitment to ensure that the basic needs of the people are met. The residents of Nanak Nagar and Sanjay Nagar have been waiting for these developments for a long time, and I am proud to say that today, we have taken the first step in fulfilling those promises. I thank all the officials and party workers who made this possible. Together, we will continue working for a better and cleaner Jammu. Such projects reflect our focus on inclusive development and ensure that no ward or locality is left behind in the journey of progress.”
Former Deputy Mayor Baldev Billowria said, “These works show our commitment to development at the grassroots and fulfilling the promises made to people.”
District President Naresh Singh added, “We are dedicated to addressing local issues promptly and ensuring every resident benefits from various schemes and development.”
Residents expressed their gratitude to the MLA and appreciated the timely initiative, stating that their long-standing issues were finally being addressed.
These development works reaffirm the commitment of MLA Vikram Randhawa toward grassroots-level governance and his dedication to addressing the needs of his constituency.
