Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 16: On the eve of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi's birthday, Jammu & Kashmir BJP President and former minister Sat Sharma (CA) released a poem titled "Modi Yug" (Modi Era), composed by party spokesperson and poet Balbir Ram Rattan. The poem is dedicated to the historic achievements and welfare schemes initiated under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Present at the release event were BJP General Secretary and Headquarters In-Charge Sanjeeta Dogra, BJP Mahila Morcha State President Neha Mahajan, and Prof. Garu Ram Bhagat, MLA from Suchetgarh.
Following the release, Sat Sharma CA, said that the poem is not merely a piece of literary work, but an expression of the emotions of BJP workers and citizens of the country. Through his words, Balbir Ram Rattan has described an era under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi-an era that has given India a new identity on the world map.
Sat Sharma CA further stated that the "Modi Yug" poem highlights various public welfare schemes started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, such as the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Mudra Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, and One Nation One Ration Card. The poem also portrays how the Modi government integrated Kashmir into the national mainstream by abrogating Article 370, accelerated Digital India and Atmanirbhar Bharat, and showcased India's scientific prowess to the world by taking the tricolor on the Moon. The poem presents a vivid glimpse of the country's progress and the people's aspirations.
On the occasion, Balbir Ram Rattan said that he wrote this poem not for political reasons but as a conscious and aware citizen. When the nation moves forward and the poor receive their due rights, the heart of a poet naturally resonates, he added.
