Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 16: Vishwa Yog Sansthaan today organised a Plantation Drive at Har Ki Pauri under its mission of Clean and Green Jammu & Kashmir - Clean and Green India. The programme was held after the daily yoga class and Hanuman Ji Pooja. The event was graced by MLA Vikram Randhawa, who planted a sapling and appreciated the efforts of Vishwa Yog Sansthaan. He said, "I am grateful to Vishwa Yog Sansthaan for inviting me to this noble cause. Planting trees is a service to society and future generations." On this occasion, Sham Lal Basan (Ex-Corporator) warmly welcomed all the guests, while Bansi Lal Gupta also planted a sapling and encouraged the participants. Many prominent members and volunteers joined the drive, including Subash, Sunny, Choudhary Balkar Singh, Suresh Sharma, Ajit Kumar Chopra, Rakesh Sawhney, Sham Kalsi (Yog), along with several other dedicated members and sisters of the Sansthaan. Addressing the gathering, Yog Guru Karan Ji, International Head of Vishwa Yog Sansthaan, said that the organisation is committed to the service of humanity worldwide. He emphasized, "Yoga is essential for a healthy society, and together we will continue our mission of Clean and Green." The plantation drive concluded with collective participation by all members, reflecting unity and commitment towards a healthier and greener environment. |
