Owais Ali Bhat foundation J&K divisions helping flood effected people

Jammu, Sept 18: wais Ali Bhat foundation was established 3 years before in Jammu and kashmir by the Chairman Owais Ali Bhat (an educationist, philanthropist, social worker).
Aim of the foundation: The aim to establish the foundation was to help needy and poor people.
*LWork done by the foundation so far: Owais Ali bhat foundation has done lot of work in education, drug related issues and also women education related things .
Recent work by the foundation:Jammu and kashmir has recently witnesses it’s worst flood situation in low lying areas near Rawi river in Jammu and Jehlum river in kashmir. the volunteers of this foundation are working to get essential food items like rice, bilk. Water bottles, dals etc in these areas. The foundation volunteers are working in district Budgam areas like zanipoora, Taingan, Pohru, Lasjan in kashmir and District Jammu in Gujjar nagar and other low lying areas of Jammu. The Chairman of this foundation himself met several affected families in kashmir as well as in jammu and assured them to provide everything they will need in these difficult times.
Words from Mudasir Hussain(one of the member and volunteer of Owais Ali Bhat foundation): it’s heartbreaking to see these people suffering and how they are managing in difficult times, he said most of the people in these effected areas are poor and have lost almost everything and they are dependent on what we are giving them to eat.
He also thanked district administration Jammu Mr Rakesh Manhas(DC jammu) for reaching out to people and helping them on time, he thanked worthy DC Budgam Dr Bilal bhat For taking care of the effected families with essential services and supporting foundation to reach out to the families.
