770 families reached, many more to go: Ashwani Sadhu

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 20: Responding swiftly to distress calls from 30 flood-affected families in Kalika Nagar, Akalpur, the Kashmiri Pandit Blood Bank Group once again came forward with essential household relief items. Families received beds, mattresses, bed sheets, pillows, kitchen utensils (tava, iron kadai, chalan belan), and water buckets with mugs.
Just a few days ago, at the same place, the team had already provided similar relief material to 40 families. With today's 30 families covered, the total has now reached 70 families supported in Kalika Nagar alone.
Ashwani Sadhu, Chandigarh-based social activist, is on ground zero with his active Jammu team, leading this mission of helping mankind. Under his guidance, volunteers rushed to the affected area to ensure timely distribution. Volunteers who actively participated in today's drive include Ramesh Koul, Ravinder Tiku, Vikas Gupta, Rajinder Tiku, Sudesh Koul, Sahil Wangnoo, Sunil Mantoo, Sanjay Bhat, and Deepak Pandita.
The team assured families that school bags and stationery will soon be provided to children in the locality, as the area has been badly hit by recent floods.
At the same time, the Kashmiri Pandit Blood Bank Group is also visiting remote villages badly affected by the recent floods where no relief has reached so far. The group has committed to provide relief there within the next 2-3 days.
Proudly, the Kashmiri Pandit Blood Bank Group has so far covered 770 families across all major flood-affected areas of Jammu, delivering much-needed relief material with dedication and compassion.
Speaking on the occasion, Ashwani Sadhu said:
"The Kashmiri Pandit Blood Bank Group is committed to serve humanity selflessly. We stand by every affected family and are just one call away to extend full support-whether in Jammu, Kashmir, Punjab, or anywhere across India."
Special thanks were extended to Vikas Gupta, who has consistently supported the last 2-3 relief drives by sponsoring significant relief material, and to all generous supporters and sponsors of the Kashmiri Pandit Blood Bank Group in India and overseas for keeping this mission alive.
With 770 families reached, the Kashmiri Pandit Blood Bank Group now looks ahead with a new milestone - Mission 1000 Families.
