DODA, Sept 29: On 28.09.2025, at around 1600 hours, a dead body of a newborn female baby (aged approximately 5-6 months) was found abandoned in the bathroom of the Emergency Ward, GMC Doda.
Taking cognizance of the matter, Police Post District Hospital (PP DH) Doda registered FIR No. 221/2025 under section 94 of the BNS.
The Investigating Officer (I/O), along with the FSL Team and Crime Photographer, visited the spot and carried out necessary legal and scientific formalities. The body was taken into custody for medico-legal examination.
Investigation into the case has been set into motion and further legal action is being taken as per law. |
