Jammu, Oct 18: In a breakthrough, a police team Head by HC Major Singh and other officials from Police Station R.S Pura under the supervision of SHO R S Pura Inspector Ravi Singh Parihar successfully apprehended a long-time absconder wanted in an Abetment fo Suicide case.
The accused had been evading his arrest for years, but persistent efforts by the police led to his capture, ensuring that justice is served.
The accused Yash Pal S/o Girdhari Lal R/o W No.7 R.S Pura Tehsil R.S Pura District Jammu was wanted in case FIR No.71/2021 under section 306 IPC of P/S R.S Pura. Due to his prolonged evasion, the Hon’ble Additional Session Court, Jammu had issued a warrant under Section 299 CrPC against him.
Acting on intelligence inputs and sustained surveillance, a dedicated Police team from Police Station R.S Pura launched a strategic operation to track and apprehend the absconder. After careful planning and execution, the Police Team of P/S R.S Pura successfully arrested him, bringing an end to his long period of evasion.
Following his arrest, the accused produced before the Hon’ble Additional Session Court, Jammu.
