O P Sharma invited as Special Guest for the 5th Edition of Kashmir World Film Festival

Jammu, Oct 25: The 5th Edition of the Kashmir World Film Festival is scheduled to be held from 1st to 7th November, 2025 in the scenic valley of Kashmir. This festival is a celebration of cinematic brilliance and cultural expression. The Opening Ceremony will take place on 1st November, 2025, and the Closing Ceremony will be held on 7th November, 2025. Films, host discussions and celebration of vibrant artistic spirit of our region will be showcased by the organizing committee, throughout the week.
Sh. O P Sharma, Director, Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu has been invited by the Organizing Committee of the Kashmir World Film Festival- 2025 as Special Guest for the entire period of the 5th Edition of Kashmir World Film Festival for his expert opinion on the organization, conduct and over-view of the whole event.
It may be mentioned here that Sh. O P Sharma is a well known artist & Founder Director, Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Creative Arts (JKCCA), Jammu. He is working for the promotion & preservation of art, culture and languages through his organization JKCCA. Sh. O P Sharma has participated in a number of state, national and international art and photography exhibitions and artist camps. He has been awarded by many organizations including Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi, Indian Academy of Fine Arts, Amritsar and Snehil, Dehradun etc. in the recent past, he was honoured with ‘Sh. Ashok Singhal Life Time Achievement Award’ by Utkarsh Lalit Kala Academy at ‘Kala Srot’ Art Gallery, Lucknow.
