Amritsar, Oct 28: The Institutions Innovation Council (IIC) of DAV College, Amritsar, organized an enlightening talk titled "Internship Opportunities for Students," aimed at guiding students towards securing valuable industry experience.
The event witnessed an overwhelming response from students across various disciplines.The keynote speaker Prof Shivani Sanan shared her insights on the importance of internships in shaping a successful career, the skills sought by employers, and effective methods to secure these pivotal opportunities.
In her address , Prof Shivani emphasized that in today's dynamic job market, theoretical knowledge must be complemented with practical experience. An internship is not just a line on your resume; it is a crucial platform to apply learning, develop a professional network, and understand workplace ethics, giving students a significant edge.
The Principal Dr Amardeep Gupta commended the IIC's initiative, stating, "Our commitment at DAV College is to provide a holistic education that prepares students for the real world.
