Shiksha Niketan, Jeevan Nagar organises Students’ Autunm Picnic

Jammu, Oct 28: Shiksha Niketan Senior Secondary School, Jeevan Nagar, organized a joyful Autumn Picnic for the students of Classes 5th to 7th at Colonel’s Adventure Hub, Bajalta, Jammu, on 27th October 2025.
A total of 72 enthusiastic students participated in this exciting outdoor excursion aimed at providing a refreshing break from academics and strengthening the bond among peers and teachers.
Upon arrival at 9:30 a.m., the students were warmly welcomed by Colonel Sir, who delivered an inspirational speech and briefed everyone about the various adventure activities planned for the day.
The students enthusiastically took part in a variety of fun-filled and thrilling activities such as laser tag, zip-lining, zip cycling, net climbing, archery, and team-building games. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, joy, and team spirit as students enjoyed the day to the fullest.
A delicious lunch was served, including rajma, rice, okra vegetable, naan, and a sweet dish, which added to the enjoyment of the day. Later, students participated in more interactive games, followed by refreshing sandwiches and French fries in the evening.
The teachers also reminded students to maintain cleanliness and not to litter the surroundings — reinforcing the value of environmental responsibility.
The picnic turned out to be a huge success, leaving students with cherished memories, renewed energy, and excitement for learning. The staff and students expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Worthy Principal Sir for organizing such a delightful event and to the organizers for ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.
