Jammu, Oct 29: Two players of GGM Science College won the Gold medals in Judo (Men & Women) Inter-College tournament for the Session 2025-2026 organised by Cluster University of Jammu at SPMR College of Commerce on 14-10-2025.
Dr. (Prof.) Romesh Kumar Gupta, Principal, GGM Science College, congratulated the winning players for their outstanding performance and remarkable achievement. He expressed his heartfelt appreciation for their hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship and wished them great success in all their future tournaments.
Dr. Gupta further emphasized that such accomplishments bring pride and recognition to the institution and serve as a source of motivation for other students to excel not only in academics but also in extracurricular activities.
The Principal also extended his warm congratulations to the I/C Physical Director Dr. Devinder Kumar Sharma, Sports Incharge Prof. Sanjay Kumar and the entire Department of Physical Education for their consistent guidance, training, and efforts in nurturing the sporting talent of the college. He encouraged the department to continue its commitment toward promoting sports culture and holistic development among students.
In Men’s section Mr. Ankit Kumar & In Women’s section Miss. Bhumi Bali of GGM Science College won the Gold Medals in the tournament.
