Jammu, Nov 1: Continuing its firm action against elements disturbing public order, Jammu Police, under the leadership of SSP Jammu, Sh.Joginder Singh,JKPS, has tightened the noose against Bovine smugglers.
Kanachak Police have apprehended one such Bovine smuggler and booked him under the Jammu and Kashmir Public SafetAct (PSA).
During the current year, 01 PSA and 01 PIT NDPS warrants has already been executed against bovine smuggler and drug peddler in subdivision,Domana, reflecting the commitment of Jammu Police towards maintaining peace and public order in the area. This is the 2nd PSA detention in Sub-Division Domana this year after Shamma Detention.

The accused was found repeatedly involved in bovine smuggling and multiple FIRs were registered against him for such offences.
The PSA warrant was executed by PSI Sohail khan of Police Station Kanachak,under the close supervision of SHO P/S Kanachak and SDPO Domana, and overall supervision of SP Rural Jammu.
The support and coordination extended by the District Administration in this regard have been exemplary.The detenue was lodged in District Jail, Poonch.
