Srinagar, Dec 28: The Taekwondo Association of District Srinagar is all set to organise the 15th District Srinagar Taekwondo Championships 2025-26 under the aegis of the J&K Taekwondo Association (Regd.) and the J&K Sports Council.
The championship will be held at the Gindun Sports Complex Rajbagh, Srinagar from 29th to 30th December 2025, under the banner of the “My Youth My Pride” initiative.
The event will feature exciting competitions across Sub-Junior, Cadet, Junior, and Senior categories, providing a dynamic platform for the young athletes of District Srinagar to demonstrate their skill, spirit, and sportsmanship.
The Association is committed to ensuring fair play and professional conduct throughout the championship, reflecting its dedication to nurturing grassroots talent.
Important Guidelines for Participation:
JKTA Athlete License is mandatory for all participants. No entries will be accepted without it.
Black Belt Certificates are compulsory for Senior athletes as per the guidelines of the Taekwondo Federation of India (TFI).
All athletes must complete the following documents:
Completed Registration Form (signed by parents/guardians)
Aadhaar Card, JKTA License, Date of Birth Certificate (issued by Municipality or the concerned Sarpanch)
The decision to conduct the championship was taken unanimously during a meeting of the office bearers of the Taekwondo Association of District Srinagar, chaired by the President TADS Shri Nisar Hussain. |
