KATHUA, Jan 20: District Administration Kathua today organised a mass recitation of the National Song here at the Sports Stadium. The mega event was organized as part of Phase-II of the 150th year celebration of the National Song Vande Mataram. The programme witnessed overwhelming participation.
Hundreds of students from the schools and colleges, besides contingents from the Police and Paramilitary Forces turned up in large numbers to take part in the mass recitation of Vande Mataram. As the recitation commenced in unison, the entire stadium was filled with the patriotic fervour, spirit of unity, sacrifice and pride in the nation.
The participants also raised spirited slogans promoting national integration, unity and brotherhood, further reinforcing the core values enshrined in the national song. The event served as a vibrant reminder of the historical significance of Vande Mataram and its enduring role in inspiring generations.
Deputy Commissioner, Rajesh Sharma who was present on the occasion, lauded the enthusiastic participation of students and uniformed forces. |
