GDC Thannamandi launches 3rd Batch of 10-Day Capacity Building Training Program

THANNAMANDI, Feb 2: Government Degree College Thannamandi, under the patronage of the College Principal Prof. (Dr.) Shamim Ahmed Azad launched the 3rd Batch of 10-Day Hybrid Module Capacity Building Training Program on "Entrepreneurship and Business Management Technology for Entrepreneurs, Innovation and Design Thinking"from 2nd of February to 12th of February 2026, under Mission Yuva Initiative. The training aims to promote entrepreneurship, innovation and design thinking among aspiring entrepreneurs.
The training session was conducted by Prof. Rizwana Kousar, Resource Person for the program who addressed the registered participants and outlined the objectives of the programme. She along with the Mission Yuva Committee members including Dr. Mohd.Ashrif, Dr. Shazia Paswal, Dr. Meenakshi Sharma and Dr. Attiq Ul Rehman guided applicants on downloading and using the Mission Yuva App, highlighting its importance and practical application for skill development and entrepreneurship support.
As a part of the programme, participants were enrolled on the Skill India Digital Hub (SIDII), a national platform that connects youth with skill training and employment opportunities. The applicants created SIDH login accounts, explored various skill courses and identified learning modules aligned with their Interests.
As per the guidelines participants were also registered for foundation skill programme courses, designed to impart essential digital, financial and entrepreneurship skills. The Initiative aims to enhance employability and prepare participants for emerging opportunities in the evolving job market.
The training course will continue over the next10 days with focused sessions on entrepreneurship, Innovation and business management.
