SSP Doda accords warm farewell to transfered out Sub- Inspectors at DPL Doda

DODA, Feb 2: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Doda, Sandeep Mehta, JKPS, along with officers and personnel of all ranks of District Police Doda, today accorded a warm and emotional farewell to a group of 25 Police Sub-Inspectors (PSIs) who are being transferred out of the district on new administrative assignments.
The farewell ceremony, organised at the District Police Lines (DPL), Doda, was attended by gazetted officers, officers, and jawans of the district. The gathering reflected a deep sense of camaraderie, mutual respect, and strong professional bonds forged over years of dedicated service in District Doda.
A special farewell party was hosted in honour of the outgoing officers, providing an opportunity for colleagues to share memories, express gratitude, and acknowledge the significant contributions made by the transferees during their tenure. The occasion was not merely a formal send-off, but a celebration of exemplary service, resilience, and unwavering commitment to duty under challenging circumstances.
While addressing the gathering, SSP Doda lauded the Sub-Inspectors for their dedication, professionalism, and exemplary conduct. He highlighted their pivotal role in maintaining round-the-clock vigilance and ensuring the safety and security of the district. He also acknowledged their contributions towards maintaining law and order, crime control, strengthening community policing, fostering public trust, mentoring young officers, and effectively responding to multifaceted security challenges.
Extending his best wishes, SSP Doda urged the outgoing officers to continue upholding the core values and proud traditions of the Jammu and Kashmir Police in their future postings. "Doda will always remember your invaluable contributions. We wish you success, safety, and professional fulfillment in all your future assignments," he said.
The outgoing PSIs expressed their gratitude to the district police leadership and colleagues for the cooperation, guidance, and support extended to them during their stay in Doda.
The ceremony concluded with the exchange of mementos, group photographs, and heartfelt tributes, reflecting the respect and affection earned by the outgoing officers. The event reaffirmed the ethos of District Police Doda-marked by unity, resilience, professionalism, and excellence in public service.
