Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0 launched in Aspirational Block Khawas

RAJOURI, Feb 2: Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0 was formally launched in the Aspirational Block Khawas- Rajouri by the District Development Commissioner (DDC) Abhishek Sharma, here today. A special awareness vehicle was flagged off from DC complex to block Khawas to promote the objectives of the Abhiyan and ensure mass public participation. The launch event was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Chief Planning Officer (CPO), District Statistics & Evaluation Officer (DSEO), Assistant Commissioner Development (ACD), Programme Officer ICDS, Chief Agriculture Officer (CAO), Chief Animal Husbandry Officer (CAHO), Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and other officials from line departments.
The Sampoornata Abhiyan shall continue till April 14, 2026, with a focused goal of achieving saturation of 06 (six) Key Performing Indicators (KPIs) related to ICDS, Education and Animal Husbandry sectors. DDC Member, Shazia Kouser has been nominated as the Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0 Brand Ambassador for the Block Khawas.
The awareness vehicle flagged off from Rajouri was received by the Additional Deputy Commissioner Koteranka in Block Khawas in the presence of all sectoral officers, officials and frontline workers. The vehicle shall travel to each panchayat as per predefined roster to spread awareness about the Abhiyan and mobilize community participation. The concerned departments were directed to work in coordination to ensure 100% saturation of all six indicators well before the target date of 14 April 2026.
