Naresh Singh Jasrotia chairs key Mahila Morcha meet in Jammu South

JAMMU, Feb 3: In a significant gathering aimed at strengthening the party's grassroots outreach and reinforcing its commitment to women's empowerment, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) District President Jammu South, Naresh Singh Jasrotia, today chaired a key meeting of the District Mahila Morcha at the party headquarters in Trikuta Nagar, Jammu. The meeting witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of Mahila Morcha office bearers, dedicated party cadres, and women activists from across the Jammu South district. A highlight of the event was the gracious presence of Adv. Neha Mahajan, President of the BJP Mahila Morcha, Jammu and Kashmir UT, Meetu Sharma, Sonia Thakur, Sandhya Gupta and District Mahila Morcha unit were present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Naresh Singh Jasrotia emphasized the indispensable role played by the Mahila Morcha in advancing the BJP's organizational strength and ideological outreach at the grassroots level. He described the Mahila Morcha as a vital asset for the party, one that has consistently demonstrated unwavering dedication in mobilizing women and amplifying their voices in the political and social spheres.
"Empowered women form the very foundation of a strong, progressive, and prosperous society," Jasrotia stated. He highlighted that women possess immense capability to lead and excel in every sector-be it education, economy, governance, or community service. Lauding the transformative initiatives of the Modi government at the Centre, he pointed out that Prime Minister Narendra Modi remains steadfastly committed to ensuring comprehensive support for women's progress through targeted schemes and policies.
He noted that schemes such as Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, Mudra Yojana for women entrepreneurs, Stand-Up India, and others have opened new avenues for self-reliance and economic independence among women. "By actively availing these government schemes, our sisters can not only build a brighter future for themselves but also contribute significantly to the upliftment of their families and communities," he added. Naresh Jasrotia called upon the Mahila Morcha members to intensify awareness campaigns about these initiatives in their respective areas, ensuring maximum outreach and benefit to women from all sections of society.
Jasrotia urged the District Jammu South Mahila Morcha units to work tirelessly in spreading the message of empowerment, participating actively in organizational activities, and serving as role models for younger generations. He stressed the need for unity, discipline, and proactive engagement to strengthen the party's base among women voters, who form a crucial pillar of support for the BJP's vision of Viksit Bharat and a developed Jammu and Kashmir.
Adv. Neha Mahajan, in her detailed address, reiterated the BJP's unwavering dedication to the well-being and empowerment of women across Jammu and Kashmir. She spoke at length about the various landmark decisions taken by the Modi government and the J&K administration to promote gender equality, safety, education, and economic participation for women.
