Achiever’s award ceremony celebrated at HPS

Jammu/Samba, Feb 4: Humanity Public School organized its prestigious Achiever’s Award Ceremony with great enthusiasm and dignity, to honour the outstanding academic and co-curricular achievements of its students. The programme commenced with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp. This was followed by a melodious welcome song presented by the students of Class 4th, which set a graceful tone for the occasion.
The occasion was graced by the presence of eminent dignitaries. The Chief Guest, Sh. Romi Kumar Vasheshta (JKAS), Joint Director, Directorate of School Education, Jammu, honoured the event with his presence. Sh. Surinder Balgotra, Zonal Education Officer, Vijaypur, attended the function as the Guest of Honour. The school management was represented by Principal Mr. Gaurav Charak, Vice Principal Mrs. Anku Charak, Admin Incharge Mr. Akashdeep Raina, along with the in-charges of various wings of the institution.
A soulful Bhakti song presented by the students of Classes 6th and 8th under the able guidance of music teachers Mr. Rajan Kumar and Mr. Kumar Abilash which further enriched the spiritual atmosphere of the programme. The welcome address was delivered by the Head Girl, Manyata Billowria, who extended a warm greeting to the distinguished guests, staff members, parents, and students.
The major highlight of the ceremony was the distribution of Academic Excellence Awards. Students of Classes 1st to 9th were felicitated with trophies for their consistent academic performance. Special recognition was given to the Board Classes 10th, 11th and 12th for their excellent results in the JKBOSE examinations. Along with trophies, deserving students were awarded cash prizes. Position holders of class 12th who have shown their relentless pursuit, received a cash prize of Rs 10,000, while other merit holders were rewarded with trophies and cash prizes worth Rs 5,000, Rs 3,000, and Rs 2,000 respectively, as a mark of appreciation for their hard work and dedication. In addition to academic honours, awards were also presented in the field of sports, and special appreciation was extended to Best Parents and Best Grandparents for their invaluable support in shaping the students’ future. The Guest of Honour shared inspiring words of wisdom, motivating students to strive for excellence and integrity. This was followed by an enlightening address by the Chief Guest, who applauded the efforts of the school in promoting quality education and holistic development.
The Principal, Mr. Gaurav Charak, also expressed his gratitude to the guests, parents, teachers, and students for making the event a grand success. He highlighted the school commitment to academic excellence, moral values and holistic development. He appreciated the dedicated efforts of teachers and parents in nurturing young minds.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks presented by the Head Boy, Shubam Singh, acknowledging the contributions of all stakeholders.
