RAJOURI, Feb 4: The Indian Army conducted an informative lecture across the regions of Rajouri, Poonch, Reasi and Jammu to raise awareness about cancer prevention, early detection and treatment options. The event aimed to educate local communities with limited access to healthcare on the importance of early screenings and lifestyle modifications to reduce cancer risk.
The lecture saw active participation from residents, including men, women and children, who engaged in discussions on cancer types, risk factors and prevention strategies. Medical professionals from the Indian Army provided insights into the signs and symptoms of cancer and stressed the need for regular check-ups and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
