Jammu, Feb 7: Jammu (Rural) Police arrested one drug peddler and recovered 10.15 grams of heroin like substance along with one weighing machine during a checking operation at Floura Nagbani area of Domana.
The operation was conducted on specific inputs by a police team of Police Station Domana, led by SHO & SDPO Domana.
The arrested person has been identified as Basharat Ali @ Vishu

In this connection,FIR No. 32/2026 under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Domana, and the accused has been arrested.
Further investigation is underway to trace the forward and backward linkages of the seized drug network. It is pertinent to mention that this is the third FIR registered against drug peddlers at Police Station Domana within a week, reflecting the sustained crackdown by Jammu (Rural) Police against drug trafficking. |
