Alumni meet hosted at Government Sri Ranbir Model HSS Jammu

Jammu, Feb 7: Government Sri Ranbir Model Higher Secondary School, Jammu, hosted an alumni meet under the stewardship of Principal Dr. Kishor Sharma, aimed at strengthening the bond between former students and the institution. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 300 alumni from different batches.
The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp and Saraswati Vandana, symbolising the pursuit of knowledge and wisdom. The event was further enriched with vibrant cultural activities, including a captivating dance performance by kindergarten students, which was highly appreciated by the audience.
The alumni meet was attended by senior officials from the School Education Department, including Umesh Sharma, Additional Secretary; Deepika Sharma, Under Secretary; and Ajeet Sharma, Chief Education Officer, Jammu. The dignitaries interacted with the alumni and appreciated the initiative taken by the school administration to strengthen alumni engagement. The prominent among the alumni’s who attended the event are Sh. Amit Sharma IAS, Dr. Madan Gopal Gupta Eye specialist, Sh. Anil Verma SE PDD; Captian Lalit Sharma IFS (forest) Dr. Kailash Thakur GMC Jammu, Session Judge C.L. Bhavoria, Prof Lalit Magotra Padam Shree.
The proceedings of the programme were smoothly anchored by Renuka Manhas, and Anjali Charak, who kept the audience, engaged throughout the event.
