| Inter district drug module busted, 2 drug peddlers arrested | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, Feb 9: Police team of Police Station Chenani while conducting naka checking duty at motor shed, Chenani intercepted one Baleno Car bearing registration number JK03P- 7083 coming from Jammu towards Srinagar for checking purpose.
During checking, two persons were found sitting in the vehicle who on questioning disclosed their identities as:
Gulzar Khan S/O Gulzar Ahmed Khan R/O Devipora, Anantnag (driver,13.10 grams)
Abid Hussain Peer S/O Peer Siraj U Din R/O Kokernag, Anantnag (41.89 grams)
During their personal search, 54.99 grams of Heroin were recovered from their possession. On being questioned about the recovered narcotic substance, both failed to give any satisfactory reply regarding its possession.
In this regard, Case FIR No. 22/2026 under Sections 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Chennai and investigation of the case has been taken up. |
