BHADERWAH, Feb 9: Dr.Ajaz Ahmed wani Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Zoology at Government Post Graduate College, Bhaderwah, achieved another academic milestone by delivering an invited talk and chairing a technical session at an International Conference on "Integrated Biological Research." The prestigious three-day conference was organized by the Department of Zoology, Central University, Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, and was held from 4th to 6th February.The international conference brought together renowned scientists, academicians, researchers, and scholars from various parts of the country and abroad to deliberate on emerging trends, interdisciplinary approaches, and recent advancements in biological sciences. The main objective of the conference was to promote integrated research perspectives by bridging different domains of biology, including zoology, biotechnology, environmental sciences, molecular biology, and applied life sciences.
Dr. Wani was invited as a resource person in recognition of his significant contributions to zoological research and academic leadership. During his invited lecture, he presented his insights on contemporary issues and innovative research methodologies in biological sciences, emphasizing the importance of integrated approaches for addressing global challenges such as biodiversity loss, environmental degradation, and sustainable development. His talk was well received by the participants and generated meaningful academic discussion among researchers and students.
In addition to delivering the invited talk, Dr. Wani also chaired one of the technical sessions of the conference. As session chair, he guided scholarly deliberations, moderated presentations, and provided constructive feedback to young researchers and doctoral scholars. His role contributed significantly to maintaining the academic quality and smooth conduct of the session.
The conference featured keynote addresses by eminent scientists, oral and poster presentations by researchers, panel discussions, and interactive sessions aimed at encouraging collaboration and knowledge exchange. Participants appreciated the platform for sharing innovative ideas and fostering research partnerships across institutions.
