GDC Thannamandi concludes 10-Day Hybrid Capacity Building Programme Under Mission YUVA Udyam Jagriti 4.0

THANNAMANDI, Feb 13: Under Mission YUVA, a 10-day hybrid capacity building programme Batch -03 successfully concluded at Govt. Degree College Thannamandi, focusing on skill development and jobs, entrepreneurship opportunities, and financial support under the guidance of College Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Shamim Ahmed here today.
The Batch was formed under the titled "GDC Thannamandi Hybrid-" 20260202 and created on the Mission YUVA Portal https://missionyuva.jk.gov.in/Home on 22-01-2026. The programme under Hybrid training titled "Entrepreneurship and Business Management, Technology for Entrepreneurs, Innovation and Design Thinking" conducted between Feb 02-12. The Target audience were aspiring entrepreneurs, early-stage founders and self-employed youth with at least high education. The Course was Conducted for 06 hours per day, from 10:00 am to 04:00 pm. The main objective of this course was to enable aspiring entrepreneurs in J&K to gain practical knowledge, develop an entrepreneurial mindset, use digital tools, innovate, plan, launch and scale viable business ventures. At the end of each topic, candidates submit online feedback to assess their understanding.
The training was conducted by Prof. Rizwana Kousar, Resource Person and Mission YUVA Nodal Officer in the College along with Mission YUVA Committee members Dr. Mohd. Ashrif, Dr. Shazia Paswal, Dr. Atiq Ul Rehman and Dr. Meenakshi Sharma. In accordance with the batch Initiation Plan, applicants were oriented to the Mission YUVA ecosystem such as Mission Yuva theme, presentation, skill learning hub video, Government schemes video and job opportunities video. For 10- Day course structure enrols applicants on the Skill India Digital Hub through Aadhaar-based identification and registration. Day-1 include Entrepreneurial Skills, Day-2 include Foundation Skill Program- Advanced Entrepreneurship, Day-03 focus on Digital Skills, Day-04 emphasised on Financial Skills, Day-05 include Leadership and management skills, Day-06 based on Digital Skill, Day-07 stressed on Financial and legal literacy, the main theme of day-08 AI for Entrepreneurship, Day-09 include Advanced Supply Chain Strategies and Day-10 include Cybersecurity
