| Samba police arrests drug peddler with 5.48 grams heroin like substance | | |  Early Times Report
SAMBA, Feb 13: Continuing its drive against drug smugglers/peddlers, Samba Police has arrested a drug peddler in the jurisdiction of Police Station Samba and recovered approximately 5.48 grams of heroin-like substance (chitta) from his possession.
Acting on information received from reliable sources, a team of Police Station Samba laid a special naka near Shamshan Ghat Bhargva College Samba and intercepted a Scooty bearing registration No. JK21F-1891 which was coming from Vijaypur side and moving towards Samba. During checking, approximately 5.48 grams of heroin-like substance was recovered from the possession of the rider.
The drug peddler identified as Abhishek Attri S/o Dayal Prashad R/o Samba has been arrested and contraband item has been seized. The scooty has also been seized in the instant case.
A case FIR No. 41/2025 u/s 8/21/22/25 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Samba and investigation started.
