CRPF organized "Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan" program at Govt High School Chanderkote

JAMMU, Mar 16: As a part of CRPF's social outreach initiative, the 84 Bn CRPF, under the aegis of Jammu Sector CRPF, organized Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan at Govt High School Chanderkote on 16 Mar 26. The objective of the camp is sensitized the young students and local youths about the menace of drug abuse. The camp was inaugurated by N Ranbir Singh Commandant, in the presence of Vikram Singh Second in Command, Shree Ram Meena Asstt Cdt, Rupesh Kumar Asstt Cdt, Abdul Rehman Principal, and other prominent villagers.
While addressing the gathering, the Commandant stated that CRPF, besides, performing security duties, undertakes various Civic Action Programmes to foster strong bond with the local populace and to contribute in nation-building. He further stated that drug abuse not only destroys a person physically and mentally, but also, destroys families, societies and the nation. Therefore, together, we all must say: " No to Drugs, Yes to Life ". More than 100 students participated in the program. Dr Biranmol Singh Medical Officer 84 Bn CRPF delivered a comprehensive talk on drug abuse, its ill effects, and ways to overcome the same.
