Central University of Jammu Hosts 'MILAP - 2026 Alumni Meet'

JAMMU, Mar 23: The School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Central University of Jammu, successfully organized its alumni meet titled "MILAP - 2026" at the Brig Rajinder Singh Auditorium. The event brought together alumni, faculty members, and students on a common platform to reconnect, share experiences, and celebrate their academic journey.
The programme began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, followed by the national song, setting a formal and respectful tone for the event. Prof. Aswini Kumar Nanda, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, delivered the inaugural and welcome address, warmly greeting all the guests and participants.
The Chief Guest for the occasion was Shri Amit Sharma, IAS, Director of Census Operations, Jammu & Kashmir, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. He was formally welcomed along with other distinguished guests including Prof. Yashwant Singh, Registrar of the University and other faculty members
