902 cases settled, Rs 1.54 Crore Compensation Awarded in National Lok Adalat at Rajouri

RAJOURI, May 9: Today on 09.05.2026 as per the direction of NALSA 2nd National Lok Adalat pertaining to all types of cases was held at District Court Complex, Rajouri and in all other Courts of District Rajouri under the Chairmanship of Sh. Rajinder Sapru, Chairman District legal Service Authority Rajouri (Principal District & Sessions Judge) in which three benches were constituted. First bench was headed by Sh. Rajinder Sapru ( Principal District & Sessions Judge Rajouri) assisted by Ms. Sudesh Sharma ( Additional District & Sessions Judge Rajouri) and Sh. Ajay Gupta Advocate, Second bench was headed by Sh. Javed Rana ( Chief Judicial Magistrate Rajouri) assisted by Ms. Satya Devi( Tax Inspector Muncipal Council Rajouri) and Ms. Somiya Tahira, Deputy LADC Rajouri, Third Bench was headed by Ms. Shama Sharma , Sub-Judge/Secretary DLSA Rajouri assisted by Ms. Ananta Raina ( Special Mobile Magistrate Rajouri), Rajouri and Sh. Pritam Lal Thapa, Additional Deputy Commissioner Rajouri. Similar benches were also constituted at Tehsil Level which were headed by the Presiding Officers of the respective Courts.
