3rd International Conference RISET-2026 concluded at YCET

JAMMU, May 14: The 3rd International Conference on Research and Innovation in Science, Engineering & Technology (RISET-2026) concluded successfully at Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology (YCET) with an inspiring valedictory session attended by distinguished dignitaries, academicians, researchers, industry experts, faculty members, and students from across India and abroad. The valedictory session was graced by the Chief Guest, Ravinder Raina, Senior Leader and National Executive Member of BJP and the Guest of Honour, Dr. Deepak Kumar, (JKAS) SDM Jammu North. The session commenced with the welcome of dignitaries and bouquet presentation to the distinguished guest by Er. Vidhi S. Singh, Chairman YCET, followed by the welcome address delivered by Prof. (Dr.) Sanjeev Singh, Director, YCET. Er. Dinesh Gupta, Dean Academics, YCET Jammu, presented the conference report and highlighted the successful conduct of keynote lectures, technical sessions, paper presentations, poster presentations, and expert talks with participation from researchers and scholars across India and abroad.
During the second phase of RISET-2026, keynote lectures and expert technical sessions were delivered by distinguished academicians including Dr. Anup Shukla, Dean Student Affairs, IIT Jammu and Dr. Arun Kumar Verma, Associate Professor in the department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Jammu. During the valedictory ceremony, prizes, certificates, and mementos were distributed to participants in recognition of their academic contributions and active involvement throughout the conference. Best Paper Presentation award was won by Robinder Singh and Anirudh Sharma from CSE Department of YCET and Best Poster Presentation award was won by Tinny Sawhney research scholar at University of Jammu. Dr. Deepak Kumar, (JKAS) appreciated the successful organization of RISET-2026 and lauded YCET Jammu for promoting research, innovation, entrepreneurship and academic excellence through international academic platforms. Addressing the gathering, Ravinder Raina appreciated the efforts of YCET Jammu in organizing RISET-2026 and emphasized that education, technology, innovation and entrepreneurship are key pillars for achieving the vision of "Viksit Bharat @2047". He encouraged students and researchers to contribute toward nation-building through scientific research, startups, Artificial Intelligence, sustainable technologies and entrepreneurship.
