MLA Arvind inaugurates lane development works worth Rs 22 lakh in Ward No 26

JAMMU, May 29: MLA Jammu West, Arvind Gupta on Friday inaugurated lane development works worth Rs 22 lakh in Ward No. 26 of the Jammu West Assembly Constituency, reaffirming his commitment towards strengthening civic infrastructure and ensuring better public amenities for the residents.
The project has been undertaken to improve local connectivity, sanitation and overall infrastructure in the area, and is expected to provide significant convenience to the residents of the locality.
Speaking on the occasion, Arvind Gupta said that the BJP remains committed to inclusive development and the upgradation of basic infrastructure across Jammu West. He stated that the focus is on ensuring quality public facilities and addressing the day-to-day concerns of the people through planned developmental initiatives.
"Development of lanes, roads and civic infrastructure directly impacts the quality of life of the people. Our endeavour is to ensure that every locality receives improved facilities and modern infrastructure in a phased and systematic manner," Gupta said.
He further said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, development-oriented governance and public welfare continue to remain the top priorities, with special emphasis on strengthening grassroots infrastructure.
Arvind Gupta also interacted with local residents and assured them that all genuine public issues related to civic amenities, drainage, sanitation and infrastructure development would continue to be addressed on priority.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Hardeep Singh Mankotia, Kushant Prajapati, Atul Bakshi, Indresh Gupta, Mangal Singh Chib, Karan Sharma, Kunti Jasrotia, Sudesh Sharma, Arti Khajuria, Manu Bali and Vikas Bali, besides local residents and party workers.
Officials from the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), including departmental engineers, the Junior Engineer (JE) and the contractor concerned, were also present during the programme.
The residents of the area appreciated the developmental initiative and expressed gratitude to MLA Arvind Gupta for prioritising infrastructure works aimed at improving public convenience and civic facilities in Jammu West.
