Farewell ceremony held on retirement of Prof Narayan Dutt, Associate Professor of Physics at GDC Samba

SAMBA, May 30: Government Degree College (GDC) Samba organized a heartfelt farewell function in honour of Prof. Narayan Dutt, Associate Professor in the Department of Physics, on the occasion of his retirement after rendering distinguished and dedicated service in higher education.
The programme was attended by the Principal, faculty members, non-teaching staff, students, and several well-wishers who gathered to celebrate Prof. Dutt's remarkable academic journey and invaluable contributions to the institution. Speakers highlighted his commitment to teaching, discipline, professionalism, and his role in guiding and inspiring generations of students throughout his illustrious career. The Principal of the college Prof. Nirlape Kour lauded Prof. Dutt's sincere service, academic excellence, and unwavering dedication towards the growth and development of the college. Faculty members shared their experiences and expressed gratitude for his mentorship, cooperation, and collegial spirit. In his farewell address, Prof. Narayan Dutt expressed heartfelt thanks to the college administration, colleagues, staff members, and students for their support and cooperation throughout his tenure. He reflected on his memorable experiences at the institution and conveyed his best wishes for the continued progress and success of GDC Samba. As a token of appreciation and respect, mementoes and souvenirs were presented to the retiring professor.
